Praying for us...

Here is how you might begin to pray for the team sent by College Park Church to go to Cambodia this week and deliver a spiritual retreat to the staff of World Relief-Cambodia:

~ UNITY AND LOVE. Please ask our Father to enable the Retreat Team (myself and my wife Becky; Dennis and Valerie Couts; John, Cindy and Adam Schmidler; Linda Draper; Greg and Dougg Enas) to be unified and have real love for each other... and that this will bring Christ glory in the eyes of those we go to serve.

~ POWERFUL WORDS. We'll be leading devotions from Colossians 1... teaching on "purity"... and giving a VBS-style program related to "the fruits of the Spirit" to the children of WR-Cambodia staff. Please intercede with us for God's anointing on all that is said/taught/shared.

~ PREPARED HEARTS. Most of the staff we will be providing this Retreat for are Cambodian nationals, poor, and work very hard for the Lord. Many are fairly "young in their faith" in Christ... so pray the Retreat Attenders will hear the message God has for them.

Some verses we are going to focus on that might inform your praying are: John 17:17... Colossians 1:28-29... and Galatians 5:22.
